People who come from tight-knit families are so connected and would typically do everything together. Growing up, they might have played games together in their backyard and had lots of bonding moments, so they have plenty of good memories with them.

Because they enjoy being with their family, they always look forward to spending time with them. When they have been away for too long from their family, they have the urge to reconnect with them. If they don’t, they might start to feel the pressure of being away, hence, “things that shouldn’t matter, start mattering.” Being with their family is their means of recharging.
